Olivia Giacobetti parfums have a very distinctive voice - a clear water coupled with the tenacity of wood, highlighted by a nostalgic accord, which induces reverie.
The aura of her creations is a mist rising above the morning sun, light that shines softly through the fog. Préparation parfumée is not an exception in this sense. Created in 2001, in collaboration with the interior designer Andrée Putman, the fragrance of Olivia Giacobetti, joining the gap between male and female perfumes, perfectly captures the scent of the blond wood pieces found on the beach. The smoothness of the surfaces, the fluidity of their odd shape and the salty scent gently reveal the fragrance while it slowly merges with the skin. A touch of crisp sweetness is provided by a small ornament of water lily, while the top notes are a whirlwind of black pepper. The transparent and minimalist quality of the fragrance in no way should be interpreted as something that will bring boredom, simply because a person can not get bored while basking in its misty, yet dazzling brightness.
