Oud Amber is a composition, warm and sensual created by the merger of these two commodities, the amber and the oud. The obiettio was to deconstruct / reconstruct the ambrra taking notes of a bestial dark Oud, adding wealth through an overdose of Madagascar vanilla and benzoiono of Laos. The Atlas cedar structure that created keeping in balance the balsamic notes. At the rear a touch of spicy essence of Pimenta racemosa (bay) illuminates this composition in a similar way to the East there light illuminates pttura Vermeer.

INCENSE OUD is built on the duality of two primeval scents - incense and oud.
Incense, largely considered a mystic perfume, is layered with oud, rose, cardamom and labdanum, creating a fragrance that is both mysteriously warm and stunningly modern.By Kilian’s third tale in the Arabian Nights collection – signed by Sidonie Lancesseur who composed the oud-themed Cruel Intentions as well as Straight to Heaven for the brand’s L’Oeuvre Noire series – boasts no actual oud in its list of materials. If Incense Oud lives up to the second half of its name, it is through the interplay between the woodiness of cedar, patchouli and sandalwood and the ambery, leathery accents of cistus labdanum and oakmoss. The incense, which makes up 25% of the formula, reads as a dark presence, its citrus facets magnified by geranium, methyl pamplemousse (a grapefruit-smelling material) and cardamom – the latter perhaps a subtle quote of the cardamom coffee popular in Arabic countries, its anisic facets combining with pink pepper to refresh the scent. Turkish rose oil, though highly dosed, is seamlessly worked into the blend as a counterpoint to the dark woody facets; a cocktail of musks permeate the scent with their soft animalic notes. Exceptionally smooth, polished and full-bodied, Incense Oud may just be the most darkly sensuous interpretation of its starring notes. ROSE OUD is a feminine interpretation of oud, using the luxurious petals of the Turkish rose.
This unique combination gives birth to a scent that is rich and opulent, yet comfortably familiar.A strikingly lovely rose made all the more enticing by a drop of darkness. In the opening the rose is a delicate bud with a bit of green, but on the skin it opens up like a fine wine – rich and luscious with a deep, plummy sweetness. The oud is definitely present, but it doesn’t feel like a separate entity. It’s as if the rose has been infused with oud – its stem has been placed in the oil and it has translated the mysterious stuff through its petals, transforming itself into a rose of unusual moodiness and intrigue. The senses are teased with veils of smoke, traces of leather, hints of wood – passing shadows that make the luminous bloom glow more intensely by contrast.
