Do Son is directly inspired by Yves Coueslant childhood, one of three founders, in Vietnam, Haiphong, where he grew up, a port in the north if Indochina. Not far away, in the small seaside town of Do Son, his father had built a pagoda by the sea to go and enjoy the sea air at the end of the day.
Do Son recalls the memory of this place dominated by scents of flowers, particularly the tuberose, whose smell is particularly loved by the mother. In Vietnam, this flower is a real cult object: you can buy at the market, cut in branches, alone or with jasmine and Ylang Ylang wrapped in large cane leaves. In Do Son, the tuberose and a bouquet of Turkey rose express a sweet feeling refreshed with orange blossom leaf and berry rose. The iris and white musk add a delicately dusty appearance.
That is, a unique fragrance, very elegant and refined.
Composition: tuberose, orange leaves, berries, rose, musk

From some years the three founders of Diptyque had made an ivy candle of which they loved the freshness, vivacity and sweet bitterness.
Eau de Lierre evokes an atelier of artists on the seafront overlooking an English garden flowers, lush and wild. Near a basin, the ivy covers an entire wall just echoing the shape of a Roman warrior, evoking fond memories.
This ivy that so impressed Yves Coueslant, Desmiond Knoox Leet and Christiane Gautrot is revealed in Eau de Lierre as a return to origins.
Olfactory family: Green
Composition: Ivy leaves, cyclamen, Gerano, green pepper, ambergris, rosewood, musky notes.

Evoking the "Road of Spices" is to invite the imagination to embark on a legendary journey through time and space. And also tell the history of perfume...
Eau Duelle at the first waves carries you away, like a fantasy that evokes endless vacation. Undoubtedly, since the long vines climbing from large trees in the tropical jungle of Central America and Messico also grow in Madagascar, Tahiti, Reunion, as in Indonesia. Raw material surprisingly, Vanilla conceals many facets depending on its origin, seducing from time to time for its flowers, gourmand, spicy or wrap nuances. Often blurred, it just asks to be unveiled... The Eau Duelle escapes in a spicy, hot, classy explosion. The lively momentum of cold spices - cardamom, pink pepper, saffron - and of intoxicating essence of juniper is enlivened by the fresh and aromatic accents of cypress and elemi. So Vanilla enters into a masterly landscape of shadow and light. On the one hand, vanilla Firnat, ethereal, gourmet and powdery. Its sweetness is exacerbated by the exciting paradisone - Firmenich molecules comprabile to hédione, with an infinite purity - and by caressing and embracing white musk. Second, the Bourbon Vanilla, original and mysterious, a little smoke and almost liqueur. Enhanced by the vetiver, incense vapors of Oliban from Africa and the animals and woody notes of Papyrus Asia. But it wouldn't be a Spice Road without unexpected meetings! The troublemakers are the bold black tea from Ceylon and the famous Calamus. Delicious revelations that make the trip unique, memorable and valuable. A fragrance intriguing, fascinating, changeable. A journey through light and shadow, between sweetness and character, femininity and masculinity... white vanilla and black Olibano. Top Notes: Rose Berry Isle de la Reunion, juniper berries from Europe, green cardamom from India, the Philippines Elemi Heart Notes: Olibano from Somalia, Pen of India, Ceylon black tea; Base Notes: Bourbon vanilla, vetiver Haiti, Indian papyru

The opopanax, resin of a tree native of Iran, was often burned in the temples of ancient Greece in honor of the gods. Alexander the Great used to perfume their clothes on a perfumed brazier with resin of opopanax and spices; hence the inspiration for this fragrance created in 1986.
The Opopanax is one of the oldest scents in the world; the Egyptians already used it in their recipes of beauty. This resin gives the fragrance an aura of mysticism.
Eau Lente, literally "Slow Water" is a fragrance impossible to describe succinctly. This scent is constantly changing, as the Opopanax is released slowly. Oriental and spicy, this fragrance warms in contact with skin, and that means that at the beginning of the day it is very spicy with a predominant hint of cinnamon, while during the day gets hotter and round thanks to the spread of opopanax that releases hints of vanilla.
Olfactory Family: Oriental/Spicy
Composition: Cinnamon, Indian Spices, Opopanax

L'Eau has been the Diptyque's first fragrance to be created and was originally developed in 1968. It is based on a British recipe for pot pourri and Pomander. It is not surprising that cinnamon and cloves are among its main ingredients. These spices are mixed with geranium, sandalwood, and roses to produce an aromatic fragrance, neither male nor female. Think of a gingerbread, rich, flavorful and dark, left infused with floral notes of the head and you will appreciate this fragrance. L'Eau is a classic and authentic fragrance that borders with all the aspects of creating traditional perfumes. As the pot pourri that inspired it, it releases the different notes of its perfume in different times of the day, giving quality in constant change. L'Eau is a fragrance for all day, its particular mix of spicy and floral notes will be the means that will take you anywhere. Olfactory Family: Spicy/flowers Composition: Cinnamon, cloves, Rose, Geranium, Sandalwood, Patchouli. Candles Matched: Pomander, Cannelle
