Céline Ellena plays with this fragrance the game of senses between two white and carnal flowers very opposite character: Neroli, pure and precious flower that decorates the branches of the Bigarade Orange (bitter orange) and tuberose which opens onto a rod as a chalice. To create this delicious scent was chosen the Bigarride Orange, Espridates tree family that produces two essential oils: Neroli Bigarride and Petit Grain Bigarade. The dance of perfumes opens on the fresh and transparent notes of Neroli and Petit Grain, while the voluptuous accents of tuberose, accompanied by the elder flower, star anise, musk and plum, grow progressively in sweeter notes. The pale iris requires many years of very complex processes, necessary to acquire the deepest secrets...
After six years of preparation, the result is a powder which is then soaked in cold water. Finally, a steam distillation produces the essence of Iris, also known as butter, provided that the chemical follows the steps of a moderate heating.
Once distilled, this creamy substance turns into a priceless treasure: the absolute. Eight long years of complex processes are needed to extract a liter of iris absolute from forty tons of roots. It is explained the scarcity of this aristocratic fragrance in perfume creations today. The magic of a flower that blends with vetiver, bergamot, cedar wood, narcissus, geranium and moss give us the brilliance of Iris Wood.
