A La nuit is one of the best jasmine scents and therefore it deserves the attention of those who particularly love this fragrance.
To create this scent Serge Lutens was inspired by Egypt. Several, in fact, are the varieties of jasmine: Moroccan, Indian, Egyptian.
The composition opens with intense notes of jasmine that the lovers of this fragrance will certainly find heavenly; then the scent calms down and becomes, if possible, even more heavenly: a sumptuous jasmine, ripe but not intoxicating. It seems like thare are other floral notes, but it is not: A La Nuit is a true jasmine monoflourish, slightly heated and elaborated in the heart from benzoin, nothing more. The base notes are amazing: they are greener and lighter than the middle notes and thus underline the spring characteristic of this floral fragrance. The perfume was created by Christopher Sheldrake in 2000. Composition: Jasmine (Egyptian, Indian, Moroccan), green shoots, white honey, benzoin, musk, clove

Mysterious and strangely moving, Ambre Sultan is the very antithesis of the golden amber you know. This wonderful fragrance is deep, with the smell of resin, and is full of spices, amber, patchouli, vanilla and dark resins. It's a trip to a Bedouin tent in a desert far away... a strong smell of incense and spices fills the air, a pair of mysterious eyes blink and the strangely real sensation to smell a wonderful scent of amber that you have never smelled before. A devilishly dark flavor that goes beyond the sensual or shyness, Ambre Sultan is a fragrance that exudes sexuality, profoundly exotic, totally and utterly unforgettable. Once smelled, it will haunt your dreams until you decide to use it again. Composition: coriander, amber, oregano, bay leaf, myrtle, angelica root, sandalwood, patchouli, benzoin, vanilla

Serge Lutens Arabie, the whole Oriental world in a bottle.
Full of dark drama and positively loaded with exotic spices and fruits, Arabie is so rich in character as it is in the ingredients. Intensely moving and out of control, this is a storm in a bottle, a beautiful devil whirls with dried figs and dates, flavored with nutmeg and cloves, and sweetened with resins and candied tangerine peel. The cedar and sandalwood bravely trying to anchor this perfume undisciplined and unexpected, but its nature is too wild to be tamed. If you like the idea of a gloriously sweet and decadent fragrance that features exotic spices and rich dried fruit of a kitchen rather than a field of flowers frou frou, you'll surely love the first whiff of Arabia. Intense and voluptuous, is a fragrance of strong character that slowly melts on your skin and stays long in the air. Composition: Citron, candied peels of tangerines, dried figs, dates, Moss

The name commemorates the year in which the Europeans noses were introduced to the stale smell, oddly compelling, of the patchouli, through the whisked leaves among cashmere shawls to repel moths during their long sea voyages from the East to Europe.
The scent is an exercise, typical of Lutens, of baroque distortion: a volley of a so burning camphor as a bite of the darkest dark chocolate, followed by an aroma relentlessly dry of cocoa and patchouli, so dark it takes on shades of licorice. Galbanum and labdanum lend their softness subtly resinous, while they increase the non-gourmet quality of chocolate accord.
Borneo 1834 is certainly one of Lutens' fragrances that you love or hate, but if you decide to succumb, as we did, you'll find it as comforting as a winter evening wrapped in a delicate cashmere shawl, reading Balzac (his Eugenie Grandet was published in 1834) at the amber glow of the fireside, sipping a good malt scotch and nibbling a square of Guanaja.
Composition: floral notes, galbanum, Indonesian patchouli, cocoa agreement, labdanum cistus

Magnetic and magnificent, Cedre is a tribute to Lutens' favorite tree.
The perfume displays the unique qualities of the precious essence of cedar wood, highlighting the quality sensual, almost carnal. The deep and spicy wood accord, the real soul of a dark forest, here blends with the aroma of creamy and voluptuous tuberose. The result is a fragrance that is fascinating in its unique combination of elegant clarity and languid softness.
The presence of the sweetly resinous amber, the slim musk, attractive and animal and warmly spicy cinnamon strengthens the sensual effect.
The amazing, indolent fragrance can shake your knees and make you become slaves of cedar. The warm smell would be absolutely perfect for the cold days of autumn and winter.
Unforgettable sensory experience that will carry you away.
Composition: cedar, tuberose, musk, amber and cinnamon

If you thought that the oak, the beeswax and the hints of rum had brought you into the secret hideaway in Western style of Uncle Serge - one with the polished furniture where he traffics mint tea for a drink - you were wrong... Chene is mainly Lutens: dried fruit, spices and wood. In Chêne (oak in French), each note joins the others to create a flammable mixture soaked with woody juices and resins... The fruity drunkenness of the oak and the rum flows through notes of tobacco and honey, in beeswax and tonka. The smokiness of tonka echoes that of birch and oak. The cedar is combined with black thyme and the base bitterness of the tannin of oak is immersed in a "note of underbrush" that fans of chypre will recognize as... oak moss.
Composition: lime crystals, sap wood, thyme black oak, Immortelle, beeswax, silver birch, rum absolute, Tonka

Chergui is the name of the arid and dry wind that blows through Morocco during the summer and gives life to a standstill. Like all the magnificent creations of Lutens, Chergui is art captured in a bottle, a magic elixir that can instantly transform the most elegant of the carriers in servile sniffer wrist. It is everything you would want from a perfume named after a legendary wind... sandalwood with a touch of warm incense, honey and tobacco leaves, is quite sweet but dry, spicy and mysterious. Chergui is a full-bodied and complex aroma and a sweet spiciness that is very far from something cute or childish. It's real poetry in a perfume... Hot and stunning perfume at all docile and family (and overtime for this.)
Composition: honey, musk, incense, tobacco leaf, hay sugar, amber, iris, rose and sandalwood
