Designer influenced by nature, James Heeley was immediately fascinated by the world of perfumes. It was after a meeting with Annick Goutal in 1996 that he has discovered how the scents are "designed".
His first perfume "Figuier" is surprising for the precision in evoking the natural fragrance of fig trees in the Mediterranean. With time and experience the beautiful, simple and fresh creations have evolved into more complex compositions as "Cardinal", "Espirit du Tigrr", "Cuir Pleine Fleur." The continuous evolution of the collection now includes ten modern perfumes created respecting the tradition and art of French perfumery.
Every detail, from the creation of the scent until the selection of raw materials, to recyclable packaging and cork with cut wood, is designed 'in house'. Heeley is today one of the few houses of luxury perfumes in Europe run by the founder-owner. This independence allows maximum freedom of expression in creating quality perfumes and simply unique. Born in England in Yorkshire, James Heeley has studied philosophy and aesthetics at King's College, London University. He lives and works in Paris.

A fascinating mix of incense that approaches us dangerously to a real trance. It evokes a great cathedral, with stone walls, - not dark, wet or dark, but a place of light, infinite calm majesty. We can imagine the dreamy tendrils of smoke rising through the sunlight crossing the windows and feel the reassuring warmth of wood and stone heated by the sun. Incense and resinous cysto blend with the deep, sweet earthiness of patchouli and vetiver, creating a fragrance that is spiritual and earthly. The theme "Cuir de Russie" is a classic of the high perfumery. In this case the leather note has been reinterpreted to create a more agile and luxury one: refined leather introduced by floral notes. This is the peculiarity and the originality of Cuir Pleine Fleur. Mimosa, acacia, hawthorn, honeysuckle and rose are the most traditional castoreum notes, vetiver and birch.

Inspired by ancient Chinese remedy based on camphor, mint and cloves, this calming fragrance is pure energy. The almost medicinial cleanliness given by the notes of Gaultheria, camphor and peppermint dissolves to reveal the warm spicy notes of clove, cardamom, cinnamon and vetiver.
