Born in Atami, Japan, Keiko Mecheri was initially a painter, her other passion, with no particular predestination to the creation of perfumes, perhaps with a hidden sensitivity, a deep insight into the fragrance.
Her world is synonymous with confidentiality and eclecticism, her dislike for abstract perfumes obliged her to be attracted to scents that, in contrast, are almost tangible.
The compositions of Keiko Mecheri tell the constellation of olfactory memories, metaphors, and the elusive daily little thing, epic periods of distant places, the continuing search for the origin of "Un Grand Parfum”.

To mitigate the smell of leather, les gantiers commonly soaked skins of animals in mixtures of scented oils that made them more pleasing to the delicate hands of ladies and gentlemen accustomed to a life of refined luxury.
The floral, herbal and resin compositions were mixed with the smell of the skin, leaving a sophisticated scented trail on the hands of the wearer.
