L'Artisan Parfumeur was created in 1976 by Jean Laporte, with the intention to promote the artistic and traditional values of the perfume. A creative concept that prefers the original notes and natural raw materials.
The brand offers a wide range of eau de parfum and eau de toilette. The knownest are undoubtedly Mûre et Musc, an unmatched classic, and Premier Figuier, which started the trend of the notes of fig (tree and fruit) in perfumery.
L'Artisan Parfumeur has launched other trends such as the travel one. So perfumes make us travel in Bhutan (Dzongkha), Réunion (Bois Farine) or in the heart of Africa (Timbuktu). The company also seduces with creative, fresh and tender fragrances, like Ananas Fizz (tonic note of sweet Victoria pineapple) or Mandarine Tout Simplement, created in 2006. Many fragrances are declined in product lines for the body... to the delight of the senses.
Other creative power of the brand is the largest collection of fragrances for the home: vaporizer environments, Boules of amber clay and lots of interesting fragrance.
L'Artisan Parfumeur is a constantly evolving brand, preferring to launch trends rather than follow them. Among the most recent changes, the ripackaging all fragrances with new bottles and caps seven faces: a design for strong identity reinforced.
A new for 2007, the brand goes to beauty products. With Jatamansi, envisioned a luxurious line for the body. Luxurious but different, which allows entry to the brand 'not noticed' in the world of organic beauty.
Located in the rue de l'Amiral Coligny, opposite the Louvre, the "Grande Boutique" was created in 2003. Ground floor, the boutique has all the smells and complementary products of the brand in between modern and attractive displays. On the first floor, large windows allow a view of the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower.

The desert of the Arabian Peninsula, vast unknown lands and mysterious memory of a legendary kingdom, sand as far as the eye an see, dunes waving in the wind, caravans loaded with gold, myrrh and oud wood... An elusive atmosphere, a sumptuous place, an oriental refinement. On the outskirts of the desert, the day, with its oppressive heat and the relentless sun, is coming to an end. At sunset, everything is tinged with radiant and glowing ocher. The magic light seems unreal. Oud Wood, bewitching, spreads its fragrance balsamic, resinous slightly smoky...
The fragrance opens with spices (cumin, cardamom, pink pepper) combined with dried fruits (dates) and already be discovered... In the heart, the flower note (neroli, rosa) makes the leather more luxurious that, on a soft bed of rare musks, is wrapped with castoreum and civet.

Batucada originates from Rio de Janeiro and "is a substyle of samba and refers to an African influenced Brazilian percussive style, usually performed by an ensemble, known as a Bateria. It is considered by some to be the epitome of the percussive ensemble. Batucada is characterized by its repetitive style and fast pace."
Perfumers Karine Vinchon and Elizabeth Maier were in charge of the composition of the new fragrance. The perfume connects not only two perfumers, but also two places on different sides of the world—Grasse in France and Sao Paulo in Brazil.
Grasse is present as the place of origin of the fragrance, while Brazil serves as inspiration for ingredients, name and general idea behind the fragrance.
Batucada, a fragrance for men and women, opens with Brazilian drink Caipirinha, which consists of lime, cachaça and mint leaves. The heart incorporates opulent and sweet floral notes of tiare flower and ylang ylang. Final notes close with a drydown of coconut water and marine notes of sea salt.

Created by Jean-Claude Ellena, perfume composer of international fame, Bois Farine (Wood Flour) is the product of his encounter with a magic tree on the Island of Reunion. Here, in a forest known as the colorful wood forest, surrounded by trees with evocative names, red wood, yellow wood, iron wood and milk wood, he suddenly discovered the fragrant white tree - a rare and protected species now, reputed to have magical powers.
