The perfumery has always been
something to make your head spin. Now is the fragrance to
be run to lose his head. For the first time in the history of perfumery a rich
and comprehensive collection of fragrances is launched as a tribute to a great
city. The name of this extraordinary collection is Bond No. 9 (in fact the
address of the boutique in
Bond Street in Noho no.9). The city
celebrated is New York.
The departure collection for Bond
No. 9 Eau de Parfum for women, men and unisex, has a double mission: bringing
back the mastery of artistic creativity and perfumery and "marking" every
neighborhood in
New York with an its unmistakable fragrance.
Each fragrance represents a specific area of downtown, midtown or uptown, or
transmit the essence of the cit. Although being unique creations, all the Bond
No. 9 fragrances have something in common that binds to the town where they were
created. They have backbone, from the most daring (and some are very bold) to
the most eccentric and all convey a courage that captures intensity (as a genie
in the bottle) the spirit of this kaleidoscopic metropolis where life pulsates
faster, where all run, work and live intensely. They make you understand that,
yes... this is the place to be ... this is the scent to wear.
Bond No. 9 is what happens when a
French perfumer, Laurice Rahmè, who has been living in New York for 25 years and really loves this city, turns his safe and averse
nose to any compromise to his adopted city. Could not help but give in
New York his own range of fragrances. Immersed in the art of high French
perfumery of the 20th century (the essence... the bottle... the packaging... the
tone), Rahmè has "sniffed" the city and created a series of fragrances as if
they were to tone poems, which bear the smell of dreams, desires, mystery,
energy and spirit of his city of choice, bold and brazen, the city symbol of the
twenty-first century.
Countertrend against most of the
fragrance business, Bond No. 9 restores the great art of perfumery, using only
very high concentrations, between 18 and 22 percent, of pure eau de parfum - the
same concentrations of persistent fragrances created by the extraordinary season
of the '20s and '30s. Moreover, each fragrance was created in
New Yorkby
renowned French perfumers, as Rahmè, that have been attracted here by what has
become the world capital of beauty and fragrance |
