The skin tans quickly, becomes incomparably seductive and becomes extremely soft and has a long lasting color.
Roucouyer tree - a species with pink flowers, native of the Caribbean - produces clusters of red seeds rich in oil. The Indians of the Caribbean grind these seeds and rub the oil on the body, face and hair to protect from sun, heat, salt water and mosquitoes.
The Ligne St. Barth drew inspiration from this tradition and researches conducted in the seeds of Roucouyer showed the presence of both the Pro-Vitamin A (a natural stimulant of melanin, the pigment cells of the basal epidermis, which is essential in the process of tanning ), that natural agents shielding from sunlight and elements from the anti-inflammatory properties.
The Ligne St. Barth solar products are the first products based on Roucou. The formula was patented and has been signed an agreement with the latest Caribbean Indian Community for the supply of Roucouyer seeds. |
